According to local media, since June, 2017, the local regulator of Changsha, Hunan province, has launched a special inspection system over health food marketing, which restrict the number of marketing campaigns and the place where this kind of event can be held.

It has been difficult to regulate the health food marketing event as the organizers tend to change different places to hold the events. Now the organizers are required to register with local authorities first before holding any marketing campaign.

The regulators also encourage whistle blowers to clean the market. The number of red line to report illegal health food marketing events was released to the public. The industry people are also encouraged to report on illegal events.
